Meet Heather M. Firnges, Practice Manager

Heather has worked in dentistry with Dr. David Ward over the last 12 years. Previous to her employment with Dr. Ward, she spent an additional 20 years of her career in customer service, investment banking, corporate finance, and management, including owning her own business.

Initially, upon entering the dental field as a new venture, Heather graduated from CCRI and became a Certified Dental Assistant through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). She received both an Associate Degree with Honors, Certification in Dental Assisting with High Honors, and the Dr. Joseph A. Yacovone Award for greatest academic achievement.

With her corporate background, Heather returned to working in business operations and took on the role as Practice Manager. In 2017, she became the Founding President of the Rhode Island state chapter for the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM). Heather has also completed additional studies at Rhode Island College and Providence College.
